Morts Post-metal (with vocals) from Germany! The music swings between quiet introspection and wall-of-guitars fury with the vocals following suit, from quiet murmurs and harsh whispers to hollering in a style recalling Darren White (early Anathema). Gets better with repeated listens!

a particular night. i failed to remember. i unfurled the flag. turned to the west. last night there was a storm, i abandoned the octopus. it is still on the truck bed, but it is not the same anymore. i turned my back to the sea. i stood facing the road. but my feet as if by themselves took a step on the edge of the road. i delayed the dawn. i plunged into the woods. i returned into the center of the night. this road is rarely traveled i have to manage some memories. forget more than i remember to reach the end of the woods. redwood trees press around us. above the stars are cold. the river is moaning. the sky is silent and vast.

a cry that ends night into endless fields of housing. beyond them skeletons of new construction and desert beneath the pavement under a sky like watered milk. no bravado no shouting or abuse. do you feel it when i google you? this is not studio light. it is the arid sun which is singling out us. as the ones who will not be spared. in land slides and traffic jams apocalyptic peels of thunder and mist and lashing rain. everybodies radios lazing on the same station. passing back slopes of dunes to a hazy view of bay and headlands. a pure sunset of the colours, steel takes on as it heats to glowing. and all got blended together into a single public self. though each listens in solitude and confinement and mutual silence.
